Senior Engineer/Principal Engineer - Applications Development

Mercer Services Delivery group is seeking a Principal engineer. Primarily focused on Mercer’s Global Billing, Time Entry and Workflow systems.

We will count on you to:

Ensures quality of technology deliverables by contributing to and communication of standards and best practices for development, quality assurance, security and service on-boarding.Performs and documents architecture modeling and design, designs software components, message/interface design, processes, and data flow to meet system requirements and defines and implements flexible, reusable and maintainable architectures.Participate in technical design and review. Develop and deliver good quality code.Review code; creates and maintains documents as a part of the solution delivery process.Conduct POCs against new technologies or innovation ideasWork with technical staff to understand problems with software and develops technical specifications to resolve them.Resolve issues and makes recommendations for improvements and enhancements.Communicate with members of the IT team on a regular basis and may serve as point of contact.Have a working knowledge of Database design

What you need to have: 

Hands on architect who can design, code, and deliver Oracle based forms/applications.Strong experience with –Oracle Forms/Reports 12cOracle Database 19cOracle SQL and PL/SQLUnix shell scriptingOracle Rest Data Services

Note: this opening is not for Oracle EBS financial. It is for custom Oracle forms and reports designing/development

Designing API interfaces & documentation using Swagger, understanding of API authorization and access control patterns, familiarity with industry standard API gateway.Experience with DevOps Pipeline and JIRA will be plus.Experience with Java is needed.
