Principal Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Principal Engineer with deep expertise in full stack development and hands-on experience in cloud and DevOps practices. This role is ideal for a technical leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about building scalable, secure, and high-performance systems in collaboration with cross-site teams.

Key responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and secure full stack applications.Architect and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS & Azure.Drive DevOps initiatives including CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, monitoring, and automation.Collaborate with product managers, architects, cross-site and cross-functional teams to define technical strategy and roadmap.Lead Technical Initiatives and take strong technical decisions in collaboration with cross-site teams aligning business visionChampion engineering best practices, code quality, and performance optimization.Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance system capabilities and developer productivity.Apply best practices on code quality and security-safe code through non-functional requirements mastery, code reviews, coding guidelines, unit testing and code refactoring.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in full stack development using backend technologies (e.g., Java, GO, Python) and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.Good understanding of database systems, including Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server)and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DocumentDB)Fair knowledge in database performance tuning, indexing, replication, and backup strategiesExperience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).Good knowledge in AI concepts and effective usage of GenAI, Copilot & AgentAI tools to delivery fast and smart resultsStrong communication & negotiation skills, with problem-solving mindset and leadership qualities.
