This role is leading the design the System from software perspective focusing on System partitioning, core infrastructure; design to maintain KPIs. The Software Architect is overall responsible for ensuring software architect reusable cross product, extendable and meeting product requirements at the architect level.
What You Will Do
Lead to define overall Cockpit SW architecture and design for Cockpit Unit/Central Compute Unit that is easily scalable and adaptable to different customersLead and steer the multiple domain teams to ensure feasible, scalable, modular, and cost optimized software designDefine advanced software frameworks, layers, interfaces, and protocols to support multiple cockpit domainsSW architecture design based on elicitation and analysis of customer requirements and market technical trendPrepare and steer technical presentations and meetings directly with OEM’s in RFI/RFQ and product developmentMaintain appropriate knowledge of current and future technologies, methods and tools, related to SW engineering and SW architectureHands-on experience on troubleshooting and resolving complex & cross-domain software issues, ensuring performance, reliability, and stability under various operating conditionsParticipant in end-to-end Software development process from concept, requirements to design and implementationProvide technical leadership to software development teams, mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for software development and documentationParticipate in technical reviews for own or others workContribute hands-on towards the technology realization as wellWhat You Need to Be Successful
Master’s degree above with 8+ years working experience or above in relevant fieldsHands-on experience on designing and understanding modern SOA SW architecture based on mainstream SoC platformsSolid technical competence on QNX/Linux BSP/System, main stream SoC SDKs, Android software especially on Hypervisor, Virtualization/ container, Framework/System Services incl. Media/Audio framework, display, Camera, Connectivity, Graphics, NPU/HW accelerator, etcTracking record for leading cockpit software architecture design for OEM customer projects based on mainstream SoC platformsDeep insight into different SoC planforms on key parameters, performance and design constrainsGood understanding of different communication protocols, incl. DDS, SomeIp, CAN, LIN, ETHGood knowledge on the function safety and cybersecurity compliant requirements and processHands-on experience on SW Full Stack Development from components detailed design, coding, testing and debuggingProficient in C/C++, Java, UML, Design Patterns, git, EA and other design and development toolsHigh degree of self-driven and results drivenStrong ability to motivate, to collaborate and communication skillsGood English language (writing/speaking) and presentation skillsBonus Points if You Have
Good knowledge and understanding of next generation CCU features, incl. AI/LLM/ADAS cockpit fusion platformsExperience on software development in Automotive industry (RTOS) is plusExperience in open-source project developmentHW, SoC, MCU and in-vehicle networks (AVB, CAN, …) is plusWhat We Offer
