We’re seeking a dedicated Technical Support Specialist to lead 3rd shift operations at our Collins Aerospace facility in Santa Isabel. In this role, you’ll ensure seamless support across our manufacturing processes by troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining continuity in MES systems, and resolving process-related turnbacks. You’ll play a critical role in a dynamic production environment, supporting the manufacture of cutting-edge electronics and electro-mechanical aerospace products. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to operational excellence in a high-tech, fast-paced setting. **What You Will Do** + Ideates, designs and modifies assembly lines within plant facilities to ensure the most efficient and productive layout, and that standard factory techniques are used. + Develops, implements and evaluates operations sequences across multiple business units, leverages best practices for operations and installations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other processes, including more complex disassembly/assembly and repairs, to ensure efficiency and optimize performance. + Designs and implements manufacturing processes, across multiple cells and sites, that are applicable to statistical process control to ensure compliance and effective production. + Evaluates and ensures mandatory modification, programs, and bulletins are incorporated or complied with, as required by the customer and the applicable regulatory requirements, to ensure legal compliance and adherence to quality standards. + Recommends opportunities and executes changes to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, or product design, materials and parts to optimize productivity and ensure optimal use of resources. + Reviews and validates recommendations regarding manufacturability of existing and future products and advises modifications or adaptations to address quality, customer, product, or productivity constraints. + Supports machine operation and leads improvement opportunities to ensure business continuity activities **Qualifications You Must Have** + Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience **or** an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience + Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written). + U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract **Qualifications We Prefer** + Creative thinking skills + Detail-oriented and self-starter professional + Ability to communicate effectively within the organization and influencing parties within and outside the organization + Prior experience performing troubleshooting to process machinery and complex test systems. + Prior experience developing and executing machine maintenance protocols + Identify and clearly document issues for resolution. + Proficient in technical writing. + Proficient in root cause analysis methodology and strong background on generating mistake proof solutions. + Highly adaptable individual capable of multitasking within tasks + Preferred Manufacturing Engineering and/or Test Engineering experience + Strong ability to plan your own work and prioritize tasks effectively + Requires an advanced knowledge of a manufacturing process environment **What We Offer** Some of our competitive benefits package includes:   + Medical, dental, and vision insurance  + Three weeks of vacation for newly hired employees  + Generous 401(k) plan that includes employer matching funds + Participation in the Employee Scholar Program (ESP)  + Life insurance and disability coverage  + Employee Assistance Plan, including up to 8 free counseling sessions  + And more!  **Learn More & Apply Now!** ​ The next chapter of our future as an aerospace company is here, and we are excited about what this means for our employees and customers!
