The DSP Engineer will be responsible for developing guitar effect algorithm, working closely with cross function teams to ensure timely delivery of Harman products.
What You Will Do
Develop guitar effectsPort and implement Sound/Voice algorithms into target DSP chipset with limited MIPS/MemoryTake ownership of legacy sound algorithms and DSP platforms used in current products to provide necessary updates and ensure continued successKeep track of the latest sound technological innovations and developments and work closely with sound algorithm partnerArchitect algorithms to various DSP platforms and oversee product integration working with global engineering teamsEvaluate MIPS/Memory/Audio HW requirements for specific productWork with acoustic team to design new sound algorithmsRegularly documenting findings, recommendations, algorithms, softwareWhat You Need to Be Successful
Master’s degree in digital Signal Processing, Math, Acoustics, or another related majorProficient in C/Assembly or C++ languages and MatlabExperience developing sound algorithms and proven recordExperience on microphone signal processing (AEC, NR, Beamforming etc) and music post-processing (EQ, Limiter, Virtual Surround/Spatial Sound etc) is preferredExperience of implementing audio algorithms into a fixed-point DSPExperience on HIFI/CEVA/ADI or TI DSP etc and MIPS optimization on DSPKnowledge about interface I2S/TDM/SPDIF/SPI/I2C/UART etcFluent Spoken English, Professional read and written English skillGood guitar playerBonus Points if You Have
