Responsibilities
Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon themEstablish milestones for necessary contributions from departments and develop processes to facilitate their collaborationAssist other department engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to other members of the teamProvide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including materials, manpower and time necessaryProvide clear goals for all areas of a project and develop steps to oversee their timely executionWork closely with engineering professionals within the company to maintain hardware and software needed for projects to be completed efficientlyMentor and train other engineers throughout the company and seek to continually improve processes companywideWork alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiativesQualifications and Experience
B.E/B. Tech in Computer Science / Electronics & Communication / Electrical or related field10-15 years experience as DevOps EngineerExperience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins(Must have), CodeBuild, CodePipelineWorking knowledge of networking, security and virtualizationWorking knowledge of domain controller and DNS server configurationExperience with Linux (RedHat, Centos, or Ubuntu) and Windows system administrationExperience with package managers (e.g., apt, yum, Homebrew)Source control Management via TFS, Bitbucket etcExperience with writing and managing scripts in Terraform, Bash, Python, Groovy(Must have) and PowerShellExperience with containerization Technologies like "Docker(Must have), Docker Compose, Kubernetes" and CI/CD with containerizationExperience with identity & access management like "AWS IAM and Keycloak"Experience with AWS cloud and AWS services like "EC2, ALB, Target Groups, ASG, AMIs, VPC, Subnets, SGs, CloudFormation, Cloudflare, ACM, S3, Secrets Manager, Cloudwatch"Experience with Operating System images like "Packer, AWS AMI"Nice to have – MySQL/PostgreSQLEqual Employment Opportunity
