Position Summary 

Our team is supporting automation and enhancements for our members for Mental WellBeing   We partner closely with our partners to develop the data feeds that drive impactful analytics.  We are positioned to make a difference for the business and the customers.  The goal is to enhance customer experience and accessibility as well as help them manage care more effectively, looking for ways to tailor services to members’ clinical needs and deliver higher quality care for a better price.  

As the Principal Data Scientist – Mental Health Wellbeing – you will work with cross functional experts across the company to design, build, and scale solutions that will enhance customer experience, help us plan for better outcomes and helping to optimize spend.

*This role can be remote in the US and must align to either central or Eastern time zone work schedules.

What you will do 

Build and deliver machine learning models into production that deliver insights to key business partners.Develop a data science roadmap that allows us to deliver on near term needs while advancing our data science capabilities Set the bar for operational rigor across the data science and engineering teams Work with a multi-disciplinary team to drive impact  Create, enhance, and maintain technical documentation for our platform 

The ideal candidate 

Has experience building and productionizing ML models within highly used products and services preferably in the context of Personalization/Recommendation enginesWants to do something that is innovative from a data science perspective and has a tangible operational impact Loves innovating and working on small teams that get stuff done and have a lot of autonomy 

Required Qualifications 

7+ years of work experience developing impactful ML/AI solutions and managing into production6+ years of programming experience in R/Python and SQL 

Preferred Qualifications 

10+ years of work experience building sophisticated and scalable solutionsHighly prefer experience Insurance, Healthcare, and the related data to create risk models and optimizing long term health outcomesPrefer Masters degree or PhD in a STEM fieldExperience with Agile environmentsExperience with cloud computing (GCP, AWS or Microsoft Azure) Experience with experiment design (AB testing, randomized-controlled trials, factorial design, etc.) 

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience *Preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$144,200.00 - $288,400.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
