Job Title: Principal Data Scientist - Onsite in Glendale, CA

Education:

Required: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative fieldPreferred: Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics or related discipline

Must-Have Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Data Science with a proven track record of delivering impactful projectsStrong proficiency in Python, R, or ScalaExpertise in machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, numpy, and pandasDeep understanding of machine learning models, algorithms, statistical methods, and mathematicsExperience developing end-to-end ML solutions from data ingestion to model deploymentAbility to identify patterns, build predictive models, and extract actionable insights from large datasetsStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams

Nice-to-Haves

Experience with cloud platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQueryPrior experience mentoring junior data scientists or engineersFamiliarity with AI and advanced analytics use cases in media or content-focused environments

Design, build, and deploy machine learning models and advanced analytics solutionsArchitect scalable data models and production-grade ML pipelines in partnership with engineering teamsAnalyze complex data sets to surface trends and support strategic decisionsStay up to date on emerging AI/ML technologies and propose innovative applicationsMonitor and maintain performance of deployed models, ensuring accuracy and relevanceProvide technical leadership and guidance to peers and cross-functional collaborators
