This position requires deep technical cloud security expertise combined with hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining security protocols within cloud environments. Design and implement security controls, policies, and best practices to safeguard cloud infrastructure, applications, and data. This includes configuring and managing security features such as identity and access management (IAM), encryption, firewalls, and network security in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Conduct regular security risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments of cloud-based systems. Identify potential security weaknesses and proactively develop strategies to mitigate risks, ensuring that cloud environments are secure from emerging threats. Lead or participate in cloud-related security incident investigations, identifying the root causes of security breaches, managing incidents, and providing recommendations for corrective actions. Ensure timely and effective responses to security incidents, minimizing impact to the organization.
