**About this role:**
The role of the Principal Corporate Banking Relationship Manager/ Managing Director will originate, evaluate and structure new financing opportunities to generate profitable CRE lending business as well as managing new and existing client relationships primarily focused on REITs, large sponsor and corporate CRE customers. There should be a focus on sourcing opportunities, growing the business, and deepening relationships with our existing clients and acting as strategic advisors to our clients and gatekeepers focusing on the best risk-adjusted opportunities. They will be responsible for delivering all of Wells Fargo to our clients working with a global mindset.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Sell WF, CIB and CRE suite of products to clients that they cover
+ Collaborate with WF/CIB/CRE product partners to identify opportunities to grow wallet share with existing clients
+ Pursue capital markets growth with clients by partnering with other Commercial Real Estate teams and various Corporate & Investment Banking coverage and product groups including but not limited to Investment Banking, Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, Loan Syndications, Mergers & Acquisitions, CMBS, and Agency.
+ Apply deep financial or credit subject matter expertise to advise clients regarding appropriate strategies and solutions for complex financial opportunities or challenges including financing discussions around strategic transactions.
+ Leverage existing C-suite client relationships and/or demonstrate an ability to develop the same to become a trusted advisor.
+ Leverage knowledge to effectively communicate the value proposition of recommended solutions and address risks or concerns
+ Leverage in-depth business knowledge of the unsecured lending market to critically evaluate opportunities and develop proposals / deals reflecting Wells Fargo’s capacity and capability to provide relevant services
+ Manage highly complex proposal / deal development and alignment across involved parties; set pricing levels and support negotiations
+ Provide guidance to others on effective proposal or deal development approaches and pricing for various deal and client / customer types; identify opportunities for improved deal structuring; provide input to new or uncommon deal types to enhance business value and sustain client / customer relationships
+ Act as a mentor and coach to staff in CRE
+ Collaborate with peers
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 10+ years of Commercial Real Estate corporate banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
**Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:**
+ Experience in Sales, Client Services, Corporate Banking, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ Proven track record of originating, structuring and underwriting CRE transactions
+ Structured finance and capital markets background with knowledge/understanding of unsecured lending
+ Strong client relationships with good knowledge of financial sponsor structures
+ Proven track record in the execution and negotiation of legal documentation
+ Experience of monitoring and managing complex real estate finance transactions
+ Strong cash flow, credit analysis and modelling skills
+ Ability to work across functions and work collaboratively with the coverage teams
+ Excellent communication skills
+ SIE, Series 79 and 63 licenses
**Job Expectations:**
+ Ability to travel as needed
+ Willingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirements

**Pay Range**
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$250,000.00 - $420,000.00
