Principal Consultant - Power System

To contribute to the technical development and delivery of studies and analysis within the power systems team:
+ To deliver consulting work related to the various types of power systems studies and analysis, for example
+ Static studies such as load flow, fault level and reactive compensation;
+ Dynamic studies such as stability studies;
+ Harmonic analysis/ power quality/ filter design;
+ Transient overvoltage/ Insultation coordination;
+ Control interaction studies;
+ Earthing studies; and/or
+ Protection coordination and Arc Flash studies
+ To provide technical and project management leadership to support the project team in the successful delivery of consulting work;
+ Management and resourcing of the power systems team; and
+ Ensuring technical quality of delivery of power systems projects, reports and proposals.
To contribute to the commercial development of studies and analysis within the power systems team:
+ To build and maintain key client relationships to effectively position power systems services and secure future business;
+ To identify areas where services/skill sets can be integrated through multi-disciplinary working, thereby developing and growing new services;
+ To lead the development and delivery of project proposals;
+ Lead on efficiency improvements in delivery, for example driving the development of new scripts on power systems software packages; and
+ Lead on excellence in power systems software packages (e.g. DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD, IPSA, CDEGs, etc.)
+ To grow iCRC UK Energy Advisory vertical into next level managing recruitment and utilisation

+ Educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems specialisation
+ Extensive experience in power systems consulting

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often working on multiple projects/ proposals at any one time

+ Strong & indepth market knowledge of UK Power Industry
+ Proven client relationship with UK clients
