Principal Consultant, Talent & Transformation

Mercer Talent Solutions business: Mercer Singapore’s Talent & Transformation business helps clients navigate the Future of Work. With the strongest Workforce Products & Insights database the market, we partner with clients to improve the way work works – our team brings expertise across a range of solution areas such as organization design, strategic workforce planning, identifying future skills needed, work design, employee experience, talent management and leadership assessments.

We will count on you to:

Lead the delivery of large, complex HR consulting projects, serving as a project director and mentor to the consulting delivery team by sharing best practices, establishing timelines, and managing scope creep.

Drive sales growth by increasing revenue from existing clients and spearheading prospecting initiatives to attract new clients.

Develop a strong client network and actively participate in business development activities, including generating leads and engaging potential prospects to establish a strong business development pipeline.

Identify and nurture upselling and cross-selling opportunities to enhance sales and client engagement.

Act as the main point of contact for clients on a daily basis, ensuring that project requirements, solutions, and deliverables meet client expectations.

Oversee the development of proposals and design solutions tailored to client needs while actively seeking accounts for upselling and cross-selling.

Proactively identify potential risks and obstacles and propose effective solutions.

What you need to have: 

A minimum of 15 years of HR consulting experience across various HR domains, including workforce transformation, talent management, assessments, organizational development, skills and capabilities.

Strong leadership skills with experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing client engagements.

Proven experience in generating new business and expanding existing client relationships.

Ability to identify opportunities and develop strategies to drive revenue growth.

Strong business acumen with a proven track record in upselling and cross-selling client opportunities to enhance sales and client engagement.

Proficient in articulating understanding client needs, defining project scope, and creating solutions that drives success.

Capability to identify, develop, and support innovative first-to-market initiatives and forward-thinking offerings.

Ability to engage internal and external stakeholders across all levels and interact with multiple teams.

Experience in mentoring and developing consultants and junior team members.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong analytical, project management and problem-solving skills.
