Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Computer Systems Architect (Principal OR Sr. Principal) to join the Compute Integrated Product Team (IPT) of the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) Site 2 program (DS2). As a Computer Systems Architect you will be a key member of the team responsible for designing and standing up of several high-performance computer environments required for DS2. This role will be reporting to the DS2 Compute IPT lead and work collaboratively with other functional disciplines to design, document and implement a computer system architecture baseline that will meet operational requirements for the system. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundational knowledge of computer systems (i.e., hardware components, applications, operating systems) and be able to collaboratively apply systems engineering principles to successfully define and document the computer system architecture for DS2.

Job Duties Include:
Collaboratively define and document the computer system designDefine the computer system application configuration and provisioning planDetermine systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system securityCoordinate the design and integration of the DS2 compute environmentsIdentify, analyze, and resolve program support deficienciesDevelop and recommend corrective actionsInterface and collaborate with system administrators, cybersecurity engineers, database managers, and software developersBasic Qualifications
