Are you passionate about shaping the future of Amazon Japan's core retail and Prime business through strategic brand communications? We're seeking an experienced Brand Planner to define and drive the communication strategy for our JP Amazon Store services. This role will be instrumental in building long-term brand value while driving business growth through brand and mass marketing initiatives.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 3-year brand and communication strategies for Amazon Japan's core Retail and Prime businesses
- Define the strategic narrative and positioning that will drive mass advertising initiatives
- Identify key opportunities and challenges in the marketplace to inform strategic planning
- Lead the integration of brand strategy across all customer touchpoints
- Lead quarterly and annual strategic reviews with key stakeholders in collaboration with XCM portfolio planning team
- Partner with key stakeholders to align brand strategy with business objectives
- Build strong relationships with senior leadership across Retail, Prime, and international XCM teams
- Act as a bridge between business teams and XCM creative/media teams
- Define clear communication objectives and priorities for core business initiatives
- Develop strategic frameworks for campaign development
- Guide the creation of compelling creative briefs that inspire breakthrough work
- Ensure consistency in brand voice and positioning across all communications
- Establish measurement frameworks to track brand health and communication effectiveness
- Drive continuous improvement in strategic planning processes
- Stay ahead of market trends and consumer insights to inform strategy
- Identify opportunities for innovation in brand communication
