Job Description

Performs 2 groups of activities. The first of which is support on sustainability and the other on commodity sourcing and management

Typically performs one or more of the following as an individual contributor:

Sustainability

Consolidate, maintain in a structured manner, and analyze sustainability data

Respond to queries around sustainability

Support the revision of sustainability policies

Drive gap closure in sustainability practices vs policy or ethical expectations

Plan for and drive sustainability projects while engaging internal and external stakeholders in a timely and effective manner

Commodity sourcing and management

Perform activities related to the sourcing of materials

Develop, implement, and communicate company policies and procedures for purchasing

Prepare RFQs, meeting company requirements and policies

Analyze data to drive insights for cost and supply continuity opportunities

May coordinate purchasing activities with Fabs and Central Planning team 

Negotiate with vendors 

Update master data

Monitor the cost, schedule and performance metrics of contracts and subcontracts

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs 

Work on other projects and/or assignments as needed

Network with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise

Train and guide others in work area on technical skills as needed

Drive interaction with internal and/or external customers and suppliers

Break down information for internal and external counterparts in a systematic and communicable manner

Present information and decision drafts to the functional management

Regularly network globally within own function and across other functions


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Good Degree in Engineering, Business, or Science disciplines

More than 7 years of experience in roles with significant international scope

Strong depth of experience in sustainability, e.g., journey to zero, RBA, CMRT, etc., and commodity sourcing and management

Has appropriate leadership and project management skills to lead projects and to support more junior level colleagues

Strong in written and verbal English

Able to handle complex analysis in Excel and Power BI
