Summary of Role: The Principal Business Finance analyst will work alongside the Sr. Director of Business Finance and Product Line business leaders to provide financial information, tools, analysis, and insight to leadership. The Principal Business Finance analyst plays an imperative role in providing support and analysis for informed decisions and driving business strategy and costs.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develops, implements, and maintains the financial plans and policies of the organization and newly created Business Units.Assesses the financial impact of key business decisions, including operating expense planning, capital allocation, cost/pricing initiatives, and others for both the mid- and long-range planning horizonsMonitors financial performance through analyzing and reporting variances to forecastsEstablishes fiscal controls, prepares financial reports, maintain strong relationships with product management, sales, R&D and site finance teamsPerforms a variety of financial planning & analysis activitiesConducts significant ad-hoc analysis to ensure the best corporate decisions are made to achieve operational and financial objectivesIncreases organizational productivity by working with internal partners to develop repeatable business processesWork and collaborate on other projects and/or assignments as neededOther Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.Other duties as assigned by manager.Required Qualifications:
5 + years Work Experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A roles, Sales Finance and/or Management ConsultingGreat communication skillsExpert level Excel and power point skillsApplies a deep understanding of company strategy and financial/business needs into the own work environment.Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.Fluency in English Language – written & verbalPreferred Qualifications:
MBA PreferredSelf-driven personality with strong analytical skills, structured work style and ability to understand complex matters quicklyCarry out investment analysis on GF’s overall Capital and R&D portfolioOrchestrate the generation of executive reports for key GF committees including developing business cases.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong planning & organizational skills.Expected Salary Range
$66,800.00 - $120,700.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
