Summary of Role:

GlobalFoundries seeks an experienced Principal Account Manager for the Global Accounts Team, located in Santa Clara CA. As a part of the Partnerships and Business Development team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business with assigned clients while at the same time providing a high level of operational service to these clients on existing business. Focus will be on Multinational Tier One Account business development.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

Develop, communicate, and drive overall strategy for assigned accountsMeet or exceed Sales Revenue, Design Win Revenue and Tape Out Revenue targetsProcess quotes, forecasts and product disposition in a timely mannerEngage in Forecast and Forecast Response process to manage factory loadings and territory revenueWork closely with the Business Units, Technical Sales, End Markets and Technology Development teams to understand client roadmaps, and to identify and secure engagement opportunitiesDevelop clear and logical business proposals in response to RFI/RFQs, and drive necessary internal alignment and approvals from key stakeholdersParticipate in operations, engineering and business review meetingsNegotiate formal business agreements at the Executive levelDevelop a high level of customer intimacy with client’s sourcing and business unit leadersWork with a cross-organizational team to establish KPIs to measure customer management performance, health and to report to senior management

 

Other Responsibilities:

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

 

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited College and or University in Engineering, Technology, Materials Science, Solid State Physics or Related Discipline. MBA is Preferred. 10 Plus Years of Experience in the Semiconductor Industry, Foundry Experience is a plus.10 Plus Years of Sales or Business Development with a successful track recordTravel Requirements: 25-40% (Domestic & International)

Expected Salary Range

$142,000.00 - $227,900.00

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
