**Summary:** Our data centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly scaling infrastructure efficiently delivers our products. Meta’s Energy Team is seeking an experienced and self-motivated energy professional to help us grow our internal alignment across teams, supporting the decision-making efforts inside the Energy and Data Center organizations in partnership with our finance organization to manage our data center portfolio as the business scales. You will work closely with leaders and executives and bring extensive experience from both a strategy and financial lens. You will have demonstrated business and financial acumen and are organized and strategic with management, leadership and communication skills. The Principal, Energy Strategy will support the continued execution of cross-cutting scope required to scale Meta’s Energy team. You will have a track record of leading inside organizations and supporting growth of major initiatives to success. This position will report directly to the Director of Global Energy. **Required Skills:** Principal, Energy Strategy Responsibilities: 1. Independently manage engagement on energy strategy internally in partnership with other Energy leadership team members 2. Engage cross functionally across Energy to develop strategy in document and slide form of internal strategy and stitch together energy and data center delivery themes and trends 3. Engage directly and in collaboration with others with key partners including Site Development, Finance, Legal, Accounting, Sourcing and Policy, as needed 4. Develop and grow relationships with key utility partners, market participants, regulators, policy makers and other stakeholders 5. Interface with internal organizations including sustainability, policy, communications, legal, and finance 6. Support continued evolution and execution of Meta’s energy strategy to match changing landscape externally and company needs internally 7. Lead and support various energy projects as needed 8. Stay informed of the technical, market, and regulatory developments in the energy industry **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 9. Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, environmental, or energy related discipline 10. 15+ years of experience in navigating general commercial energy issues 11. 2+ years of delivering broad, far-reaching initiatives related to creative energy commercial solutions 12. Experience with strategic communication including communicating commercial, regulatory, market, and contractual details to all organizational levels 13. Experience in managing multiple projects and collaborating with all internal and external stakeholders and consultants 14. Experience in and with utilities, utility processes, regulation and other policies 15. Excel, PowerPoint and/or Keynote experience 16. Can travel domestically and internationally as needed (10% to 20% or more at times) **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 17.
