We are seeking an experienced Principal, Business Development professional to lead our Think Big Scaling Initiative as the Single Threaded Leader(STL) at Amazon Web Services (AWS) Japan. This strategic role will shape the future of both Japan's society and AWS's growth through driving Japan nationwide scaling go-to-market initiatives.

Key job responsibilities
Scaling Initiative Development:
- Develop successful go-to-market motions by directly interacting with customers and expand the motions across the broader segments.
- Identify on-going go-to-market motions within AWS that can be replicable as Japan nationwide scaling initiative and expand the motions to the broader segments.
- Design and implement large-scale scaling initiatives as Amazon Mechanism

Leadership and Stakeholder Management:
- Drive the scaling initiatives as the Single Threaded Leaders.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams that include but not limited to Specialists, Sales, and Solution Architects.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior management, ensuring alignment with AWS's strategic objectives

Innovation and Culture:
- Establish frameworks for calculated risk-taking and experimental approaches
- Champion and foster a "Think Big" culture within AWS Japan
- Develop and implement best practices for innovation and strategic growth


About the team
At AWS, we collaborate deeply with System Integrators, Distributors, Value Added Resellers, Telcos and other services providers to provide end to end digital and business transformation value to our customers. Many of our strategic partners have holistic businesses including IT and consulting services, software products, re-selling, and other related businesses with IT infrastructure requirements. These partners typically have large customer base, multi-year contracts, and long-term relationships with our customers, and a mix of business units providing different value propositions.
