We are strengthening our team with a Sr Customer Quality Engineer at our locations in El Salto.

Our Customer Quality team acts as the main interface between our OEM customers and ZF’s internal departments, including production, engineering, and sales. We are responsible for ensuring that products meet the highest automotive quality standards and for representing the organization in front of the customer. We collaborate across departments to efficiently resolve any quality-related concerns or complaints.

  What you can look forward to as Sr Customer Quality Engineer: Act as a key liaison between the customer and internal teams (production plants, engineering, sales). Lead warranty, 0 KM, and launch-related quality issue resolution via customer portals. Coordinate quality containment and improvement activities on-site at customer locations. Prepare and present quality performance reports to OEM customers. Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring IATF 16949 compliance. Attend regular customer meetings and represent ZF in quality discussions. Opportunity to represent ZF to strategic automotive customers. Collaborate with multicultural and cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. Your Profile as Sr Customer Quality Engineer: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in automotive quality(CQE Functions), handling OEM customers. Advanced knowledge of quality standards (IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, audits). Proficient in root cause analysis and problem-solving tools (8D, Ishikawa, etc.). Six Sigma Green Belt certification and strong GD&T interpretation skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken); willingness to travel (~35%). Experience working directly with OEMs such as GM, Ford, Honda, Stellantis, etc. APQP - Core tools
