Prime Brokerage Salesperson

Are you a driven individual who wants to excel? Are you an excellent communicator? We’re looking for someone like that with an edge in:
• origination of new prime brokerage relationships and business, through networking, prospecting, pitching and winning of new PB clients (primarily hedge funds and other alternative asset managers)
• monetization of existing accounts and relationships, through well-coordinated sales strategies, strong client relationships and commercial acumen, to ensure UBS has the maximum/optimum share of business from our client base, whilst maintaining high quality mutually-beneficial client relationships
• trigger-puller relationship management stills with senior buy-side individuals (C-suite, heads of treasury/financing, heads of trading, heads of business development, senior marketing/IR, etc), and the ability to leverage those relationships to drive market share and revenue increases
• an existing network of buy-side relationships in these roles across hedge funds, primarily in North America
• strong understanding of the prime brokerage product, and other associated products and services, including profitability levers, risk considerations and processes
• excellent understanding of the hedge fund industry: HF operating models, the landscape, evolution of HF business models, talent, asset raising considerations and trends in/direction of the industry
• ability to devise sales-oriented projects to address specific objectives/challenges, and own/drive them forward to achieve financial results

• New York: the salary range for this role $275000 to $312500
The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level.
