Pricing & Tender Specialist
PURPOSE:
Contribute to broadening knowledge to move from price to value, incorporating it into tenders and other innovative proposals. Manage all the information and documentation required for tenders in Spain.
Implement the Pricing Strategy for established products in Spain. Support the Radiology and Consumer Health businesses in managing the achievement of P&R and price variations.
KEY TASKS:
1.Tender Management:
Research and Opportunity Identification:Regularly monitor public procurement platforms, official bulletins, and other relevant sources to identify bidding opportunities that align with the company’s product line.Assess the feasibility and potential success of each bid based on established criteria.Documentation Assurance:Verify that all proposals and submitted documents comply with applicable regulations and the specific requirements of each procurement process.Maintain accurate records of all bidding processes and ensure they are filed according to the company's policies and legal regulations.Proposal Preparation:Coordinate the collection of necessary information from various departments (regulatory, production, finance, etc.) to develop competitive proposals.Draft bidding documents that are clear, concise, and meet all technical and administrative requirements set out in the terms of reference.Business Case Development:Create comprehensive business cases to outline the economic offers to be presented in bids, including cost analysis, pricing strategies, and projected profitability.Collaborate with relevant departments to gather data and insights that inform the business case, ensuring all financial aspects are thoroughly analyzed and justified.Presentation and Follow-up:Effectively present proposals to public agencies, highlighting the benefits of the products and the company's ability to meet the bidding requirements.Conduct post-bid follow-ups to obtain feedback, resolve inquiries, and adjust future approaches based on the results obtained.Report Preparation:Create periodic reports on the status of bids, price analysis, and product performance, presenting analytical data that reflects the impact on business.Provide post-bid result analyses, including success in contract acquisitions and recommendations for future bids.
2.Pricing Analysis: Support Pricing & Tender Lead in the implementation of pricing strategies related to Establish Products portfolio
Market Studies:Conduct in-depth analyses of prices for similar products in the pharmaceutical market, evaluating price trends, market shares, and demand-influencing factors.Identify and analyze the pricing strategies of competitors to understand positioning and improvement opportunities.Pricing Strategy Development:Collaborate with Pricing & Tender Lead to develop competitive pricing strategies that maximize profitability and align prices with market expectations.Conduct profitability analyses by product and proposes optimal prices, considering costs, desired margins, and customer price sensitivity.Monitoring and Adjustments:Implement a tracking system to evaluate the performance of established prices in the market, analyzing the impact on sales and profitability.Recommend timely adjustments to pricing strategies in response to changes in market conditions, as well as new regulations or government policies.Update of Bayer’s database:Keep Bayer's databases (product database, FAST, CPD, SAP, etc.) updated to avoid possible errors in the management of commercial offers, orders and billing thereof.Pricing ManagementImplementation of commercial agreements on FAST for Establish Products portfolio.Support RAM/KAM teams to solve internal issues related to pricing conditions with Establish Products portfolio.Support Establish Products, Radiology or Consumer Health Pricing & Reimbursement submissions and price changes.
KEY WORKING RELATION:
Internal: Market Access roles, Business Units and Enabling functions (Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Procurement and Communication).External: Public administration in the field of tenders (Contracting authorities)
