What You Will Be Doing
As a Pricing/Proposal Estimating Manager, you will develop and execute bid and negotiation strategies, interface with Program Executive leadership and external customers, and drive process innovations to improve proposal efficiency. You will lead a team of individual contributors, ensuring compliance with FAR and DFAR requirements.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience leading major program proposals (Production, Development, and Sustainment)
• In depth knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and Cost & Pricing Data requirements
• Experience being primary Estimating interface for customer negotiations and DCAA audits
• Primary Estimating focal point for strategy and delegation review discussions with Executive Leadership
• Strong cross functional collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders to drive business outcomes
• Proficient in Pricing/Estimating Systems, such as ProPricer and EFS, as well as advanced Excel concepts, including Pivot Tables, VLookups, SumIfs, and other complex formulas
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with ability to clearly articulate complex estimating and pricing concepts to stakeholders and decision-makers, and drive stakeholder buy-in and support for proposals and business strategies
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated leadership skills, either through formal management experience or recognized Team Lead expertise, with a proven ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving business objectives
• Prior experience leading teams/individuals through system transitions
• Proven ability to analyze and enhance tools and processes, with a focus on driving efficiency, productivity and quality improvements
• Experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Direct Commercial Sales (DCS), and other non-standard types of proposals
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
