About the Role:
The focus of pricing strategy at Wolters Kluwer includes an interesting mix of commercial packaging & pricing projects, SaaS migration projects, and other strategic monetization initiatives. The pricing strategy function is a critical enabler of Go To Market (GTM) strategies to drive acceleration of organic revenue growth and maximize value capture of product technology investments and value-added services.
Reporting to the EVP Finance and CFO of the TAA division and working closely with the TAA division CEO and TAA business segment GM’s, the Pricing Strategy Associate Director will work to support and execute on strategic pricing initiatives that elevate market presence as a leading B2B SaaS company.
You will work with TAA business unit leadership teams, notably the two largest and high growth business units (North America – Professional, and Europe) across GTM functions (e.g., product management, marketing, finance, sales) to deliver strategic pricing projects that harmonize and drive material impact across both product and regionally oriented go to market strategies. In addition to leading TAA pricing strategy and enablement you will work within a global Pricing Community of Practice (CoP), a peer group that fosters sharing of pricing and go-to-market best practices across all Wolters Kluwer divisions and business units.
Ideal candidates should display conceptual problem solving, have excellent presentation and storytelling skills, as well as strong interpersonal, communication, data and analytical skills. The ability to run and deliver agile programs, translate strategy into executable plans, and work both independently and collaboratively across senior stakeholders to influence strategic change are critical success factors.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or equivalent required. Master's degree in business, economics, or a quantitative discipline preferred Total work experience of 15+ years in commercial or analytical roles with a minimum 5+ years in a top pricing strategy consulting firm, or top strategy consulting firm with project experience in pricing Experience in B2B software or digital information services requiredDemonstrated understanding of price model development and optimization for subscription (ARR) models, license/maintenance models, transaction models, AI/Agentic models, and API modelsExcellent conceptual problem solving skills as a highly analytical thinker, with the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels Strong program management capabilities with the ability to influence and sponsor projects across multiple business units, with willingness to operate as an individual contributor and consultant Strong interpersonal skills, capable of interacting and communicating effectively at all levels of the organization through both written and verbal channels Passion for commercial strategy and pricingTravel: Occasional project-related travel, typically in North America and Europe, is expected at around 25%.

Compensation:
Target salary range CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $153,200 - $216,850
