The PositionPricing and Negotiations Manager

As the Pricing and Negotiations Manager you will be responsible for developing, leading, and implementing pricing plans and strategies for new and in-market products to optimize list and net prices while maintaining compliance with the regulations of the Patented Medicine Prices Review Board and Global Pricing Policies. This is also is customer-facing role as the Pricing and Negotiations Manager will work closely with the Health System Partner (HSP) on Product Listing Agreement (PLA) implementation. This person will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (local, global and external).
The Opportunity:
Accountable for list and net pricing strategy taking into consideration PMPRB guidelines and global pricing policies and working with cross functional teams to achieve approvals Supports strategic plans to achieve optimal public and private reimbursement with the Access team Accountable for negotiations process and leads core and extended negotiations teams on negotiation strategy
Accountable with regional HSP's for the implementation PLAs at a provincial level
Monitor drug price compliance with Patented Medicine Prices Review Board and Identify and proactively resolve issues with Patented Medicine Prices Review Board guidelines
Develop and lead research or policy projects related to the Pricing Landscape in Canada, as required.
Support development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures related to pricing (e.g., Product Listing Agreement process, Pricing Approval process, Price Increase process, etc.)
Who you are:
You hold a Bachelor Degree in Science, Business, Economics, etc. A Master's degree is highly desirable.
You have a minimum 5 years of relevant market Access or Pricing experience (in Pharma or government)
You have experience presenting to large groups with advanced communication skills
You have experience working with cross-functional teams
You have demonstrated ability to influence all levels of management
Preferred:
Knowledge of Patented Medicine Prices Review Board guidelines and processes
Knowledge of the pan-Canadian Pharmaceutical Alliance
Experience negotiating with public/private organizations
Knowledge of product listing agreements and contract pricing Knowledge of pricing strategy
Experience performing pricing assessments for new products
