**Position Summary**
The Pricing Analyst role is a dynamic and strategic position responsible for processing and providing modal pricing and analytical responses to support business opportunities. This role involves close collaboration with a network of offices, corporate shared services, and customers to deliver competitive solutions tailored to customer needs. As the pricing owner for each opportunity, the analyst ensures accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment in all pricing activities.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Execute pricing processes and service level agreements with the branch network.
+ Manage and respond to daily pricing requests for new and existing customers.
+ Ensure compliance with operational policies prior to pricing business.
+ Log notes on pricing activities to communicate effectively with operations staff.
+ Manage incoming work queue and respond to network requests via email, ticket system, and phone.
+ Perform checks and balances of bid submissions and awards.
+ Ensure quality assurance of submitted bid rates and final rate uploads.
+ Read bid materials to understand requirements and expectations.
+ Gather, consolidate, and verify rates and lane awards.
+ Manage timelines for bid submissions.
+ Maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
+ Perform site administration for websites related to opportunities.
+ Utilize various pricing tools effectively.
+ Monitor and report monthly progress towards goals and KPIs.
+ Understand modal yield strategy and assessorial fees.
+ Identify process improvements to enhance win ratios.
+ Communicate with stakeholders to understand market fluctuations.
+ Collaborate across offices and shared services to improve pricing processes.
+ Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving bid award issues.
**Intermodal**
+ Assess data from various sources to generate pricing strategies.
+ Align capacity measurements with drayage providers for operational execution.
+ Develop relationships with suppliers to enhance efficiency.
**Retail Consolidation**
+ Assess data to generate strategic pricing solutions.
+ Generate reports based on collected data.
+ Understand warehouse capabilities and market costs.
+ Develop relationships with sales and pricing teams.
+ Participate in customer calls and communicate pricing status to management.
**Qualifications**
**Required**
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, customer service, or pricing.
+ Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
**Preferred**
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Commercial or logistical experience within C.H. Robinson or externally.
+ Ability to work cross-functionally and influence effectively.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Excellent time management and attention to detail.
+ Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
