Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is hiring a Press Operator to join our team in Tampa, FL. In this role, you’ll set up, operate, and maintain printing presses to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications. If you’re detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and ready to be part of a team that values quality and efficiency, we’d like to hear from you

Your Responsibilities

Read and follow job orders carefully, and speak up if you see mistakes or problemsSet up and adjust the press for each job so it matches the orderWatch the product as it runs to make sure it meets quality standards, and fix problems quicklyKeep an eye on the press during runs and let maintenance know if there are mechanical issuesStart jobs and keep them running on scheduleDo regular cleaning and maintenance on the pressWork to meet production goals for speed, waste, and quality

Your Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm

You Must Have

Basic mechanical skills or an interest in learning how machines workGood math skills to read a ruler and figure out label sizes for the best use of materialsAbility to run equipment and meet production and quality goalsAbility to follow written and spoken instructions for work ordersProfessional communication skillsStrong attention to detail

Requirements Within This Position:

Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandRegularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer
 • Ability to tell colors apart accurately
 • Experience working in a production or manufacturing setting
 • High school diploma or equivalent
