We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Setup Operator to manage the setup and operation of Amada Press Brakes. The role involves interpreting blueprints and GD&T specifications, as well as loading and unloading sheet metal components from the machine. Additionally, grinding and deburring parts and components by hand, and with deburring tools, are essential tasks. You will be required to read from basic blueprints and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and consistently lift up to 50 lbs as part of your daily duties.
ResponsibilitiesSetup and operate Amada Press Brakes based on blueprints and GD&T specifications.Load and unload sheet metal components from the machine.Grind and deburr parts and components using hand tools and deburring tools.Read and interpret basic blueprints and SOPs accurately.Consistently lift and move components weighing up to 50 lbs.Handle nuts, bolts, and small components for sheet metal assembly.Work with precision tight tolerance sheet metal both independently and in a team environment.Essential SkillsMinimum 1 year of experience in Press Brake Setup.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T.Experience with precision sheet metal fabrication.Mechanical knowledge, ideally related to car type components.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Solid references based on attendance record.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh level Press Brake setup or Lead experience is preferred.Experience with CNC machine setup.Familiarity with using calipers and other mechanical measuring tools.Why Work Here

Choose between two shifts: 1st shift runs from 6am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday and 6am-10am Friday, while the 2nd shift operates from 4pm-2:30am Monday-Thursday.
