Responsibilities for a Press Brake Operator include but are not limited to: + Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape metal components according to engineering specifications. + Interpret blueprints and technical drawings, ensuring dimensions and tolerances are met. + Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers for quality checks. + Perform tooling setups, adjustments, and routine maintenance on press brake equipment. + Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot production issues and maintain workflow. + Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. Candidates for Press Brake Operator must meet the following requirements to be considered: + Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar manufacturing role. + Strong mechanical knowledge with ability to read engineering drawings. + Proficiency in using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers). + Familiarity with fabrication machinery (milling machines, waterjet, saws, drill press). + Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted and additional weight with assistance. + Ability to work independently and in a team environment with a sense of urgency and safety awareness. + Computer skills and willingness to learn new processes.
