Press Brake Operator
**SUMMARY:** Sets up and operates press brakes in accordance with prepared drawings. Reads and interprets drawings and diagrams to set up and operate machinery for precise desired results. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Load, install and correctly set up the tools required for each job + Program machine to bend parts to customer spec. + Responsible for ensuring quality of finished items + Operate equipment according to safe work practices and adhere to all required personal protective equipment + Perform set-ups, minor troubleshooting and adjustments, and routine preventative maintenance when required + Complete production documentation correctly + Maintain high levels of quality and continually seek methods of improvement for all functions of the position + Practice good housekeeping to keep assigned work-area clean and organized + Other duties as assigned **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:** + This job has no supervisory responsibilities **QUALIFICATIONS:** + High school diploma or general education degree (GED) + Previous press brake experience, minimum 3 years + Must be able to work with minimal supervision, be proactive and possess strong communication skills both written and verbal + Data entry, math and basic computer skills + Must be able to work well in a team environment + Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills + Excellent time management and organizational skills + Experience with measuring tools including but not limited to calipers, protractor and tape measure **PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** + Continually required to stand for extended periods of time, walk, read, talk and hear + Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity + Continually exposed to changing temperatures, hot, humid, cold in shop environment + Must be able to frequently move and lift items up to 20 lbs **Pay Details:** $20.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
