**Job Title: Press Brake Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess setup-level expertise and have the ability to work on 1st, 2nd, or weekend shifts. The role involves operating Cincinnati or LVD presses and handling additional fabrication responsibilities within the department.
**Responsibilities**
+ Work from routings, method layouts, and prints to determine the proper forming sequence of the tooling.
+ Select, position, and align tooling in machine ram and bed.
+ Program the controller to set specified pressure of ram and clearance between tools and set stops on machine bed.
+ Comply with the requirements of the ISO Quality Management System and departmental procedures and work-aids.
+ Perform basic quality inspections and deliver the first piece to inspection for verification of dimensions and conformance to requirements.
+ Use standard measuring equipment.
+ Apply standard sheet metal math skills and standard blueprint reading skills.
+ Document in-process inspection data.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1+ years of experience running a brake press
+ 1+ years of experience in a metal fabrication shop
+ Standard blueprint reading skills
+ Basic quality inspection skills
+ Standard sheet metal math skills
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Flexibility to operate a turret or grinding machine when necessary
+ Experience with Cincinnati or LVD presses
+ Knowledge of CNC press brake operations

**Work Environment**
Work in a fast-paced job shop where parts are constantly changing. Be prepared to assist in other areas if your machine is slow for the day. The facility is equipped with three Cincinnati presses with Cincy controllers and three Strippet presses with LVD controllers, typically handling .18 and .10 gauge aluminum and stainless steel.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
