Temp-to-Hire position$20.00 /hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredThird Shift (11:00pm to 07:00am)Set up and operate the press brake machineInstall correct tooling and dies based on blueprints or work instructionsAdjust machine settings like pressure, back gauge, and stroke lengthRead and interpret technical drawingsUnderstand blueprints, CAD files, and work orders to determine bend sequences and dimensionsMake accurate bends in sheet metal or plate material to specified angles and dimensionsUse tools like calipers, protractors, and micrometers for verificationPerform first-piece and in-process inspectionsEnsure bends are within tolerance and part dimensions match drawingsMaintain machine and toolingClean and inspect machine regularlyIdentify worn or damaged tooling and report maintenance needsMaintain a clean and organized work areaPress Brake Operator - 3rd shift Qualifications:
Experience operating a press brake machine Usually 1–3 years preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawingsBasic math and measurement skillsProficiency using tape measures, calipers, protractors, and micrometersUnderstanding of sheet metal types, thicknesses, and bend allowancesAbility to perform machine setups, including tool selection and calibrationComfortable lifting materials up to 50 lbsAbility to stand, bend, and work on your feet for long periodsExperience with quality control and inspection toolsBasic understanding of CNC machine operations (for CNC press brakes)Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
