  What Matters Most:Competitive pay ranging from $15.00 – $25.00 an hourMonday – Friday 2:30 pm – 11:00 pmWeekly PayMedical, Dental, Vision, and other benefits are available As a Press Brake Operator, you will play a critical role in serving the commercial, agricultural, and defense industries for a custom fabricator of metal solutions. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity that, with good attendance and a great work ethic, can lead to a long and rewarding career with numerous opportunities for advancement. Responsibilities:Operate a computer-controlled press brake machine to produce blanks for additional manufacturing operations or sold as is as finished flat partsCheck parts utilizing calipers, micrometers, and height gaugesLoad the correct program into the control to run the correct parts and quantitiesMeasure parts effectively to guarantee conformity to print specificationsDetermine if the material supplied meets production requirementsRemove cut pieces from the sheet and examine defects associated with punching, including edge quality and surface nonconformity, including scratchesComplete production paperwork, including quality and timekeeping recordsRead blueprints to determine the characteristics required to monitor Qualifications and Requirements:High School diploma or trade completion6S Standards (Set in Order (aka Straighten or Stabilize), Shine (aka Scrub or Sweep), Standardize, Sustain, Safety )Recent experience or technical school for a punch or CNC operatorAbility to read and interpret drawings.Must have experience working with calipers, micrometers, and height gauges, and part measurement efficiencyBasic computer skillsMust be able to describe and use control language and have demonstrated ability to perform specific computer functions and commands to set up, operate, and adjust (offsets) the press brake.Able to stand for long periods Your New Organization:Our client is a premier metal assembly manufacturer serving both commercial and defense industries, with two advanced facilities totaling 240,000 sq. ft.
