Job Purpose
To support business development in the BFS (Banking & Financial Services) sector by acting as a technical partner in the pre-sales process, developing value-driven proposals, and shaping solutions aligned with customer needs and organizational delivery capabilities.
Location
Munich, Germany (Hybrid – Office between Nymphenburg and Olympiapark)
Reporting Line
Reports to: Digital Engineering Services Manager
Key Responsibilities
Shape the positioning of the company’s BFS offerings and engage directly with clients to understand needs and propose solutions Attend industry events and monitor trends to inform strategic initiatives Create technical content and offer documentation based on client use cases Lead the creation of project delivery calendars, estimations, and scope definitions Write compelling, tailored proposals that address client pain points Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, and Enablement teams on lead generation Identify and build strategic partnerships that enhance differentiation and market impact Support architectural and technical improvements with cross-functional stakeholders Manage tasks autonomously while coordinating with internal technical and sales teams Key Qualifications & Skill Set
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field Experience:
Proven experience in the Banking & Financial Services sector Solid technical experience in architecture, software development, or digital transformation projects Experience in solution selling and technical pre-sales roles Familiarity with agile software development environments Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of software engineering challenges and solution design Ability to build technical content, delivery plans, and architectural improvements Soft Skills:
Consultative selling style with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and German Analytical mindset with the ability to align technical requirements with business value Independent work style combined with collaborative team participation Working Conditions
