Job Description

Have solid knowledge of bag prep, spice, hand pre-weigh and all products’ requirements. Identify any quality concerns with the ingredients, allergen labeling or cleans/changeovers.

Specific Duties

Prep Ingredients

Weigh up spices

Pull ingredients into prep room

Shovel for multi-fill

Operate equipment

Clean equipment

Hand-preweigh

Complete all required documentation / IQS Entries

Quality (verify product quality, date codes, weight distribution, seal integrity, label verification, case quality)

Safety (follow all required safe work practices—ie: PPE, JSA)

Other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Experience/Skill Level

Ability to communicate effectively.

Ability to work independently and with others.

Must be able to work in a safe manner.

Must ensure quality products are being packaged.

Responsible for following all Food Safety Policies and Safety Procedures. Responsible for Q-RMP standards implementation as defined by the accountability list document
