Wells Fargo is seeking a Premier Growth Director to support the Premier Channel within Wells Fargo Advisors. This role is ideal for a strategic, performance-driven professional who thrives in a consultative, desk-based environment. In this role, you will:

Work in a consultative internal desk environment with responsibility for specific regions, while also supporting inbound calls to the consulting desk from all regionsWork directly with Financial Advisors and Area Managers within the Wells Fargo Advisor Premier Channel to facilitate growth across investments and full balance sheet solutionsDevelop strong knowledge of Wells Fargo Advisors market views, products and platformsCollaborate internally to deliver a strong Advisor experienceDrive adoption of Wells Fargo products including investment solutions and lending productsLead complex initiatives for business development including those that are cross-functional with broad impact and act as key participant in large scale planning initiatives and growth opportunities in assigned marketsReview, analyze, and research complex, multi-faceted business challenges within the Premier Channel area which require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factorsIdentify and select best channels and product combinations to improve effectiveness and efficiency of coverage in marketplaces to meet the unique needs of customersMake decisions on complex and multi-faceted development and growth strategies for designated markets requiring solid understanding of Premier Channel policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead team to meet business objectives, deliverables and drive new initiativesStrategically collaborate and consult with mid-level to senior managers, colleagues, stakeholders, bankers, brokers, business leaders, and community leaders, including internal or external customers, to resolve issues, achieve growth in market share, and meet customer needs; serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationSuccessfully completed FINRA Series 7 Series exam to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents) 


Desired Qualifications:

Successfully completed FINRA Series 63 and 65 (or 66) exams to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)  Experience in a desk-based sales or consulting role within financial services, preferably supporting Financial Advisors or wealth management professionalsStrong understanding of investment products, lending solutions, and deposit strategies across a full balance sheetFamiliarity with Premier Channel dynamics, including advisor segmentation, service models, and client engagement strategiesDemonstrated ability to drive sales performance through outbound calling, consultative engagement, and territory planningAbility to translate complex financial concepts into actionable strategies for advisorsProven success in advisor onboarding and enablement, including training, product education, and integration support


Job Expectations:

Work from a Wells Fargo office 5 days/weekSpecific work schedule will align to assigned market(s)Ability to travel up to 25% of the time (1 week a month)FINRA Series 63 and Series 65 (or 66) examinations, or equivalent, must be completed within either a 90 or 180-day time period following commencement of employment, depending upon the number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required.Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) may be required for ongoing employment in this positionThis position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
