Job Description

Are you a hands-on individual who enjoys building and working with your hands? Join our team as a Prefabrication Assembler and play a key role in producing high-quality furniture components by assembling, sanding, inspecting, and preparing parts using a variety of materials.

📅 Monday to Friday

🕖 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

💵 Payrate: $16.16/hr DOE

What You’ll Do:Assemble wooden, metal, plastic, or composite furniture parts using blueprints, sketches, or work orders.Use hand and power tools to sand, trim, and prepare furniture components.Install hardware such as bolts, screws, rivets, or clips.Inspect subassemblies for quality and mark any defects for repair.Follow all safety procedures and use required protective equipment.

Work Experience

What We’re Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent.Ability to read blueprints, production orders, or drawings.Previous experience as an assembler in a manufacturing or furniture-related industry is preferred.Strong attention to detail and quality.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:Regular standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs and occasionally 70+ lbs), twisting, and repetitive hand movements.Exposure to loud noise and airborne particles.Personal protective equipment (PPE) required: safety glasses, steel toe boots, gloves, ear plugs, and mask. Apron provided upon request.Strong vision required, including depth perception and the ability to distinguish color.
