BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Pre-Production Industrial Engineer.  The Pre-Production Industrial Engineer is responsible for leading the product program teams to design and implement new or expanded lean manufacturing systems and integrate them into the plant existing system for optimized overall cost.

Key responsibilities

Lead Lean Manufacturing System Design ProcessDetermine cycle times on machine based and labor based processesDetermine headcount for budget and forecastingDrive high utilization for man, machine, and materialDesign efficient material movement and work in process handlingAnalyze plant equipment and floor space capacity and identify gaps and potential plans for improvementDesign in ergonomics on all system workstations
