We are seeking Specimen Management Associate 2 to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business at Marietta, GA.

As a Specimen Management Associate 2, you will ensure accurate receipt, storage, shipment, and tracking of clinical specimens while supporting quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across operations.

What you’ll be doing:

Accession, label, store, and ship clinical samples with accuracy and timeliness

Maintain inventory and freezer organization for specimen integrity

Identify and escalate errors or potential processing problems

Support onboarding and training of entry-level staff

Respond to operational alarms and other time-sensitive functions

Receive and manage compounds and control materials as applicable

Promote safety, quality assurance, and 6S compliance throughout the lab

Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

What We Are Looking For:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Bachelor’s Degree preferred; some CAP/CLIA labs may require a BS in chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology

Minimum 6 months of related experience preferred

Basic computer literacy with ability to follow standardized lab procedures Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures

Attention to detail and ability to resolve routine operational issues

Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills across teams

Familiarity with inventory, labeling systems, and regulatory compliance

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $34,700.00 - $72,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
