Practice Sales Manager – West

Our Intelligent Infrastructure Solution Seller – West Region will focus on driving sales of large structured cabling and low-voltage solutions to customers involved in large-scale construction projects. This role requires a highly motivated and skilled individual capable of identifying opportunities, building strong relationships, and closing high-value deals. 

Key Responsibilities:  Business Development:  Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the structured cabling and smart building/IoT market.  In collaboration with Vertical Account Managers, develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.  Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.  Generate leads through developing wider relationships within existing accounts (new & assigned), networking, and attending industry events and trade shows.  Sales Management:  Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.  Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.  Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to secure sales.  Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions in SalesForce.  Client Relationship Management:  Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.  Provide ongoing support and consultation to clients to ensure their needs are met.  Act as a liaison between the client and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.  Technical Expertise:  Maintain a thorough understanding of structured cabling products and solutions.  Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings.  Provide technical guidance and support to clients regarding the design, implementation, and maintenance of structured cabling systems.  Qualifications:  Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field, or relevant experience.    Experience:  Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the structured cabling or telecommunications industry.  Proven experience selling and closing large and complex ($2M+) deals.  Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing new business.  Skills:  Strong understanding of structured cabling solutions and industry standards (e.g., TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC).  RCDD a plus.  Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.  Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.  Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.  Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.  Personal Attributes:  Proactive and results-driven with a strong business acumen.  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment.  Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.  Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
