Short DescriptionThe Registered RN is a professional caregiver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self. Follows established policies and procedures. Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors. Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management, and physicians. Applies Cooper core values. Other duties as required.
The Registered RN is a professional caregiver who is a member of a multidisciplinary health care team and assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of pediatric primary care patients. This opportunity focuses on the provision of direct and indirect patient care needs for children and adolescents in Burlington County and surrounding areas.
Supports, educates and assists patients and their families, serves as a patient advocate.
Demonstrates effective teamwork as a member of the interdisciplinary care team, fostering and exemplifying a culture of respect.
Responsible for the coordination of care, assists in securing prescriptions and supplies for proper care. Participates in telephone triage
Consistently follows evidence-based practice and nursing standards/procedures to provide nursing care that eliminates preventable events of patient harm and promotes excellent patient outcomes.
Experience in Pediatrics or Primary Care strongly preferred.
Experience in Telephone Triage strongly preferred.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and clinical skills are required.
Experience Required Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse).Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) Education Requirements
Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.
