Job Title: Practice Coordinator
Practice: Total Joints, Adult Reconstruction, and Trauma - Nathan Cafferky, MD
Status: This is a full-time, year-round, benefits eligible position.
Classification: Exempt - Salary
Location: This position is primarily based at our Vail location with some travel required to our other clinic locations.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Pay Range: The entry range for this position is $60,000-75,000 and is dependent on experience.
PRACTICE COORDINATOR OVERVIEW
The Practice Coordinator supports the daily operations of the physician practice by performing administrative duties, supporting patient surgery scheduling, and facilitating smooth patient flow throughout the clinic. This role works closely with clinical staff to ensure timely, organized care and contributes to a positive patient experience while upholding the standard of excellence in orthopaedic medical services.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides executive support to assigned physician practice: performs complex administrative duties including responding for physician when he is unavailable, composing correspondence, and coordinating resources across the practice.Support practice development efforts by assisting with scheduling efficiencies, patient outreach, and identifying opportunities to improve clinic operations.Supports patient relations by providing excellent customer service and escalating medical questions or complaints to the appropriate clinical staff.Maintains clinic and patient scheduling, helps coordinate daily patient flow, and communicates with VH, VVSC & AVH as needed to support scheduling logistics.Attends Practice Manager Team meetings as needed to provide practice updates and support coordination efforts.Responsible for coordinating meetings for assigned physician which includes, but isn't limited to, reserving meeting rooms, ordering meals, developing agendas, taking/publishing minutes, and following through on action items.Provides administrative support as directed by the physician on staffing related needs including, scheduling interviews, and assisting with the onboarding processes, in coordination with Human Resources. Helps manage the physician’s team calendar including: meetings, and reviewing and approving time off requests in coordination with relevant staff.Other duties as assigned. RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 1 years experience working in a medical practice/healthcare setting, required.Excellent organization, communication (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills required.Strong attention to detail, with the ability to consistently produce accurate and thorough work, identify errors or inconsistencies, and ensure precision in all tasks.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a variety of tasks while prioritizing most essential tasks.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook), with the ability to effectively manage email communication, schedule meetings, organize tasksEMPLOYEE BENEFITS:
