In this role, there is the opportunity to –
Monitor key performance indicators, including scheduling efficiency and point-of-service benchmarks, to support timely patient access. Analyze staff development needs and coordinate training initiatives with Education and Training teams. Assist in setting and implementing quarterly and annual goals, policies, and procedures for registration and patient business services. Provide backup support for daily operations during staff absences to ensure continuity of workflow. Develop and promote a patient-focused culture aligned with consumerism and service excellence initiatives. Communicate system and payer updates to staff and collaborate with management to ensure appropriate training and policy updates. Collaborate with Information Services to implement and optimize practice management system enhancements. Investigate and resolve issues related to registration, coding, charge entry, collections, and financial reconciliation. Perform financial analysis on accounts receivable, reimbursement trends, denials, and overall revenue performance. Evaluate staff performance through audits, feedback, and annual reviews, and participate in hiring and personnel decisions.
