Job Overview:
Qualification
Performs all patient related administrative and clerical duties necessary to assist the heath care team to provide patient care. Acts as a liaison between patients and the clinical team. Involves direct patient interaction as well as effective communication and coordination with other healthcare providers and departments.
Required:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Must have prior healthcare experience Proficiency in clinical information systems (e.g. Epic) Strong communication and organizational skills.Preferred:

Full-Time Day 37.5 Hour Work WeekEssential Functions:
Checks patients in and out of the center in a courteous and professional manner Daily telephone management (incoming calls, return calls to patient, voice mail, appointment confirmation calls,etc.) Scheduling and managing appointments including acting as a liaison between the practice, providers, and hospital departments who refer patients to the Pain Center Ensures and maintains adequate inventory of office supplies, medical supplies, and equipment Management of mailings such as referral and pre-appointment information Assist with pre-authorizations and billing for procedures, radiology, and medications where appropriate. Assist clinical staff with patient communications regarding pharmacy, medical supplies and medical inquiries Manages policies and procedures for the practice.Benefits and Perks:
