Reporting to the VP Customer Success and Professional Services APAC, you provide innovative services, solutions and deep Guidewire expertise to enable customers to successfully implement, adopt, evolve and realise value from their Guidewire investments. You drive strategic initiatives, provide specialist advice, develop and lead a talented team of Guidewire practitioners, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Portfolio and Practice Leadership

Lead the team of Principals, Engagement Managers, Project / Program Managers and Guidewire product specialists supporting the implementation and adoption of Guidewire products in the APAC region, creating an environment of high engagement, performance and personal growth

Ensure the team applies sound business consulting skills to understand the customer’s business context, priorities and outcomes needed, in order to effectively inform and shape proposals.

Ensure engagements align with the Guidewire professional services value proposition, are based on mature planning and estimation methods, and leverage local and global capability and capacity effectively to deliver maximum value for the customer and Guidewire.

Ensure customer outcomes are successfully achieved through sound project management discipline and governance, leaning in to ”whole of project” issues and risks appropriately, and working effectively with SI partners..

Develop and maintain a forward view of APAC demand based on customer account plans, sales pipeline and emerging opportunities identified by PS, Customer Success and Sales functions

Collaborate with Global Practice and Operations teams to effectively communicate APAC service demand and ensure required capacity and capability is available as and when needed, providing sufficient advice and lead time

Proactively identify and resolve resourcing and capacity issues across ANZ delivery, minimising impact and risk to customers and Guidewire.

Ensure Professional Services key performance measures and budgets are effectively planned, tracked, analysed, reported and managed to achieve targets and outcomes i.e. Revenue and Booking budgets, Utilisation Targets etc 

Establish development programs to ensure the team stays current and proficient as Guidewire products and solutions evolve in a SaaS environment, liaising with Global practices to leverage frameworks and training opportunities, to provide the expertise only Guidewire can provide. 

Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities for process improvements, service expansions, or new service offerings through:

monitoring industry trends, market conditions, and customer feedback

maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders - customers, partners and Guidewire teams

actively participating in sales cycles.

Maintain an agreed level of personal utilization by playing a strategic role within select accounts.

About You

Proven track record of successfully leading complex technology implementation Programs 

Proven track record leading multiple teams and projects concurrently across multiple clients 

Extensive experience in SaaS, portfolio management, and customer relationship management

Understanding of insurance industry trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics 

Financial services industry experience to appreciate regulatory expectations 

Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities, with a track record of building lasting relationships with clients and partners

Experience in leading technical specialists  

Knowledge of the Guidewire InsuranceSuite or proven ability to rapidly learn industry specific technology solutions
