Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + Make rounds, assessing patient’s condition with appropriate follow-up. Make rounds with physicians, accurately transcribing and implementing orders. Assist with physical exams and other procedures as needed. + Preparation, administration and documentation of all medications, treatments and IV therapy as ordered. + Documentation of various reports, nurses’ notes/medical records as required and necessary. + Initiate First Aid/CPR in emergencies. + Performs all other related duties as required in order to maintain the smooth operation of the Nursing Services Department and Villa Feliciana Medical Complex. Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, or Detail to Special Duty Career Progression: This position may be filled as a Practical Nurse Licensed 1, 2, or 3 Work Schedule: 12 hours with rotating weekends. The shifts are 5:45 am - 6:15 pm or 5:45 pm - 6:15 am. Compensation: The Practical Nurse Licensed 1 offers a Special Entrance Rate of $19.48 hourly, along with premium pay of up to $15.00 per hour.
