Job Purpose

•    Executes the sourcing strategy at local level and is the first escalation interface with local suppliers, planning, site quality and R&D departments. 
•    Acts as the key procurement interface with BU product management team for raw material inquires in new product developments.

Key Accountabilities

•    Implements the sourcing strategy in MPY Shanghai site.
•    Communicates MPY shanghai needs to regional or global sourcing teams.
•    Conducts commercial negotiations and manages suppliers as delegated by sourcing.
•    Ensure value engineering savings project implementation in MPY Shanghai site.
•    Identifies industrial excellence opportunities, communicates with sourcing and execute for MPY Shanghai site.
•    Acts as the first procurement interface to handle MPY Shanghai site related supplier issues.
•    Acts as the first procurement interface for BU MPY new product development.
•    Communicates with MPY global product management, provide raw material information with agility and follow up proactively.

Job Requirements

Qualifications/ Education:
-    Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business or related field 
-    Good mathematics is mandatory
-    Master’s Degree will be an asset
-    Minimum 6 years of experience in procurement role 
-    Proved project management experiences
-    Fluency in English
