Prototype Powertrain Operation Parts Management Analyst position takes care of Powertrain commodities part follow up activities for Ford’s Global Pre-Build requirements according to Program milestones. This starts once the supplier release requirements are sent by the BoM Analyst, following up for Promise date, mitigating part supportability issues and coordinating part delivery to the Ford plant
Prototype Powertrain Operation Parts Management Analyst to coordinate with CFT (BoM Analyst, Engineering, Build Coordinator, Program Mgt) and participate in Program review meetings to update the part supportability status to meet the Material Required Date (MRD).
Candidate Specification
Education Qualification : B.E / B. Tech
Number of Years of Experience : 3~5 Years with SCM, Engineering change & BOM.
Professional Exposure : MP&L / Manufacturing
Must be willing to work in North American working hours
Skill & Knowledge requirement:
Good communication and analytical skills. Hands on experience in ERP and other material management systems. Skills on MS office applications (Excel, Power point) Knowledge about Process Automations tools (Excel Macro, Alteryx, Robotic Process Automations…) Demonstrates interpersonal skills and leadership potential Good business acumen. Extensive experience in MP&L / SCM systems Global Perspective, cultural awareness & sensitivity
Job Responsibilities:
Participate Program review meetings to understand the build strategy and timings. Reach out to the suppliers over emails, phone call, meetings to get the part supportability plan Ensure all powertrain components are delivered to plant as per agreed window. Liaise with all BoM Analysts to understand the impact of part delivery delays. Co-ordinate with Ford Customs team for clearance of shipments. Coordinate with Powertrain Operation build team and Logistics service providers for part collections from across the globe and ensure part availability at build location. Prepare and publish required part supportability metrices to all stake holders and participate in Program escalation Meeting to seek support for quicker resolutions. Train the suppliers on accessing the ford systems and instructions to deliver the parts per Ford standards. Identify the process improvements opportunity and work with SMEs to implement the solutions.
