What you'll be doing
As a member of the Digital, Data, Strategy team within Private, Personal, & Digital Banking you play an important role providing a future-looking strategic view for the line of business to ensure success and ability to meet our ambitious growth goals.
The team provides thought leadership, in-depth analytics, and insights to the rest of the group to guide business decisions and influence the future direction of our team.
The Analyst will assist with reporting & analytics related to digital product offerings & digital marketing campaigns. They will be responsible for analyzing data and provide meaningful insights within scheduled dashboard reports. They will also collaborate with different teams to identify reporting needs and to assist with strategic project initiatives. Leveraging industry insights and data, this role will play a key role with assisting on digital strategy, analytics, product implementation, and industry research. This role will partner closely with other functional areas including Technology, Analytics, Marketing, Compliance, Risk, Portfolio Management, and Enterprise teams.

How You Succeed
Interest in consumer banking and emerging digital technology: Stay informed about trends in open banking, payments, and fraud/risk, and apply this knowledge to support reporting and analytics initiatives within PP&D.
Technical proficiency: Advanced experience with Excel or other data tools (Tableau, SQL, Power BI).
Communication and collaboration: Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, working collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Organizational skills and multitasking: Maintain excellent organizational skills, effectively manage competing deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
Relevant experience: Prior experience in marketing or finance is an asset.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $65,000 - $70,000 for the Chicago, IL market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component. CIBC offers a full range of benefits and programs to meet our employee’s needs; including Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Savings Account, Life Insurance, Disability, and Other Insurance Plans, Paid Time Off (including Sick Leave, Parental Leave, and Vacation), Holidays, and 401(k), in addition to other special perks reserved for our team members. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
