Job Description
We are seeking multiple Powersports Engineering Technicians to join our research and development environment. This role involves supporting complete vehicle durability testing on ATVs and Side by Sides.
ResponsibilitiesPerform vehicle testing according to outlined test procedures and requirements.Assemble complete vehicles using engineering drawings, service manuals, and communication with engineering staff.Conduct vehicle maintenance and safety checks before, during, and after testing.Be attentive to detail during testing and identify concerns or problems as they arise.Communicate and document concerns with project leaders, utilizing a high level of detail and clear understanding of the situation or problem.Perform vehicle tear down for part confirmation and sub-component section evaluations.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.Essential SkillsAutomotive Technician experienceExperience with 4 wheelers, ATVs, Powersports, and motorcyclesEngineering Technician experienceATV Technician experienceAssociates degree in EngineeringPowersports testing experienceEngineering and troubleshooting skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsUnderstanding of Powersports vehicles (ATV/SxS/Dirt Bike)Experience riding or repairing ATVs and Side by Sides preferredAbility to multi-task and communicate effectivelyProficiency in working within a team environmentCapability to follow instructions or defined test proceduresComfortable asking questions in uncertain situationsWillingness to travel, especially during winter monthsWork Environment
This role is based in an R/D testing environment. Technicians will have the opportunity to travel to on-site test locations and work at a first-class test track facility. The position includes the ability to test ride ATV vehicles through various types of tests. This is a long-term position offering two weeks of shutdown pay and five days of PTO to start.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
